Peanut Butter Abuse

Ewww! So I was digging around on youtube today and I found the creepiest video evaaa. It is titled "Peanut Butter Man" and it shows a man in a tub covered in p-butter and licking it off his body. It is gross and most definately a crime against peanut butter. I don't know if i can ever look at peanut butter the same way again after watching that. Why would ever do that sir? Why... Here is the link, feel free to watch it and I know you will because you just can't resist.

Another Job for PB

Oh no, you got gum in your hair!!!
What are you going to do?Cut it off?
Wait, stop! Peanut butter can save the day.
That's right, the marvels of pb are great.
With these simple steps you will have the gum out of your hair in no time at all.
1. Buy smooth p-butter, it works better than crunchy because of the higher concentration of oils.
2. Apply pb to the affected area. Using a tooth brush may be quicker and less messy than using your fingers.
3. Work in the pb with upward and downward strokes.
4. Use a dry towel to pull out the pb and the gum will come it with it.
5. Once all gum is removed remember to shower and wash your hair.
Peanut butter saves the day yet again :)

Natural Peanut Butter

Ok, in the last blog I talked about some of the things that make up regular p-butter. In order for you to choose the PB that is best for your home, you still must learn about the other two types. Today I will discuss Natural peanut butter.

Natural PB: * This PB must be refrigerated and so it can be found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.
* This PB is made up of 100% peanuts (+ salt).
* It contains no hydrogenated oil. Therefore, the oil will separate from the peanuts and must be stirred back in.
* Contains 12 grams of fat.

One last type of Peanut Butter to go!!! TTYL

Choosing the Right PB for Your Casa

Since peanut butter is widely popular and found in almost every one's home, I thought it would be good to blog about the different choices you have when you buy peanut butter. By doing so, I hope to help you all choose the right PB for your own homes. I have broken down the p-butter into 3 different types: Regular peanut butter, Natural peanut butter, and Peanut butter spreads.Today, I will talk about Regular peanut butter.

Regular PB:
* This type of PB is mostly on the shelves of your local grocery store.

*By law, this PB must contain no artificial sweeteners, colors, or preservatives and must be made up of 90% or more peanuts.

* Many brands contain hydrogenated oil in order to increase the shelf life and prevent the peanut oils from separating.

* Two tablespoons of this PB usually contains about 16 grams of fat with 3 of those grams being saturated along with 190 calories.

Keep posted for the next blogs on the other two types of peanut butter to come!!!
