Health Benefits

Greetings readers! All of these years I have been consuming peanut butter and I was not aware of the many ways that PB is actually good for you. That's right, recent nutrition studies have shown that peanuts and peanut butter are good for you. I have compile a list of some of the healthy affects of eating PB and I hope you all go out and take advantage of these by eating lots of peanut butter!!!
1. A PB and jelly sandwich provides 18% of the recommended daily folic acid intake, which is recommended for the reduction of birth defects and for lowering the risk of heart disease.
2. Eating legumes and nuts 4-5 times a week can help lower blood pressure.
3. Monosaturated fat like that found in PB has been found to reduce the risk of breast cancer by as much as 45%.
4. Eating low glycemic index foods such as PB along with a diet high in cereal fiber can help reduce the risk of non-insulin-dependent diabetes in women.
Woohoo for the miraculous effects of peanut butter!!!!
